i have a algae problem in my publick spa . I have brushed algae off sides.Made sure ph&cl level aer good used nonclorine sock 3times usal dose . And treated with algaecide 60% concentrate and it comes back what am i doing wrong

I would change the sand or the "media" in the filter as it sounds like it may be "infested" with algae as well.

Algae can not grow if the chlorine levels in the spa are high enough for long enough periods of time. You could have algae growing in the pipes, filter or other less conspicous areas of the spa. Non-chlorine shock is not very effective in killing algae, and you should use regular chlorine and keep it very high for a few days. The spa may need to be closed to maintain chlorine levels at the higher levels...

OK it has been a month since i have had to much of a problem with the algae in my spa there is only a little bit that stays around i make sure that my bromine is at the correct levels every morning brush off the sides and in the skimmer but every morning i have a build up of it around the sides and in the skimmer is real bad build up. I use 60% algae side what else can i do to reduce it i have cleaned the filters real well I'm lost .

Thats called scum and it is from the bathers. Use a Scotch Brite pad and GLB TLC to clean the scum line....

? what is GBL OR TLC and where is the best place to pick it up ?
