Polaris 360, does it work

Had a pool for 18 years with a Polaris cleaner with extra pump. Moved and put in pool. Builder said did not need a cleaner with nature 2 system. He was wrong. Did not have the aux. pump so bought a Commander/Aquabot type cleaner for $1000. It does not do a good job. Want my Polaris but am told very expensive to put in now. Polaris 360 was recommended as not needing a pump and hooks up to one of returns. DOES IT WORK?

The 360 model is a good unit, it works off the pressure side of the pool return fittings. It is our opinion though, that the 360 does reduce the turnover rate of the water through the pool filter and reduces the distribution of water in the pool a bit due to the configuration. It is also our opinion however, that the 360 works a thousand times better than any aquabot or other "plug in" style cleaner... You can always install an "over the deck" line for the 380 booster pump style cleaner unit pretty easy too.
